That’s a pretty pairing of words to this painting Barbara. Change is not for the feint of heart. I am very resistant to change the older I get.
Sometimes we’re forced to change, but even the changes we initiate can be a challenge to accept.
Yes, I agree with that statement completely Barbara.
🙏
Sounds like you have something coming up….
So many changes since becoming a widow, some forced on me, and much to my surprise, many that I’m choosing for myself.
Barbara, Yorkie is gone. Yesterday. Died in my arms at home natural causes of age. Pure Love and Joy. No longer feels pain is at peace. 🕊️April 7 2012 – July 29 2026

“But I’ve got just one more change to make” in the quote you posted resonated with me. And the art work you chose is very heartwarming for me this morning.
I understand what the duo post meant to me. I empathize with what it might mean for you.🕊️
Oh Teri, I am so sorry you’ve lost Yorkie. I know how very much he meant to you. Knowing that our loved ones are resting in peace no longer in pain does give some comfort. Your feelings about the tomorrows that will never be and how the past keeps fading away are so true. I’m glad the flowers and the thoughts on change spoke to you this morning. You will carry your memories of Yorkie’s days with you forever in your heart and I pray those memories will bring you comfort and the courage to carry on with the changes this great loss will bring in your life. Much love and many hugs, my friend. 🙏 💙 🦋
Thank you for your kind words, my friend. 💙
(((hugs))) 💙
I enjoyed this serene painting, Barbara, and the lovely words. My friend, the changes you have had to face and the heaviness that is grief–I am glad you are enduring and I wish you comfort and peace, and the continued ability to find the sweetness around you.
So happy to know you enjoyed the picture and word combo, Jet. And thank you so much for your kindness and encouraging words of comfort. It’s been wonderful getting so much support from you and all my blogging friends. 🙏
