Tim’s grandfather, Karl Freeman Rodgers, Sr., son of George Lincoln & Mary Jane (Rodgers) Rodgers, was born 22 October 1895 in Provincetown, Massachusetts, and died 27 March 1971 in Boston, Massachusetts. He married (as her first husband) 18 September 1928 in Batavia, New York, Allegra Estelle Hamilton, who was born 17 August 1900 in Newark, New York, and died 16 January 1992 in Keene, New Hampshire, daughter of Charles Amos & Gertrude Mabel (Hubbard) Hamilton.
Allegra & Karl were the parents of two children:
1. Karl Freeman Rodgers, Jr. (Tim’s father), born 26 April 1930 in New York, New York, died 23 November 1978 in New York. He married (as his first wife and as her first husband) 14 July 1951 in Cranford, New Jersey, Ruth Jane Flanzer, who was born 20 November 1931 in Brooklyn, New York, and died 11 March 1992 in New London, Connecticut, daughter of Joseph Asher & Lenore Naomi (Raven) (Ladd) Flanzer.
Karl married (as his second wife) Elizabeth (—).
Karl lived with his partner, Jody Evans, who was born 30 April 1949, and died 22 May 2004.
2. Delorma Hamilton Rodgers, born 1 September 1936 in New York, and died 15 January 2026. She married 7 June 1958 in Cranford, Robert Douglas “Bob” Morton, who was born 11 December 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, and died 8 January 2017 in Keene, son of John Randolph & Viva Kathleen “Kay” (Beattie) Morton.
