Beauty — be not caused — It Is —
Chase it, and it ceases —
Chase it not, and it abides —
Overtake the Creases
In the Meadow — when the Wind
Runs his fingers thro’ it —
Deity will see to it
That You never do it —

I wish I was walking through that pretty meadow, (fear of ticks or not).
So many pretty flowers for the butterflies to visit! 🦋
Yes, they are in their glory. With the exception of Cabbage Whites, I’ve only seen one Eastern Tiger Swallowtail this year. I am missing the highlights of Summer due to this heat wave.
I haven’t been outside except to go food shopping. But while I was on my treadmill the other day a turtle appeared, booking it across the moss, detouring around the gutter drain, and off to the other side of the yard. I never know what I’m going to see!
I’ve not walked or been out for a week today – too hot and humid. Tomorrow I’ve got to go to the dentist and eye doc (to pick up my glasses) and I’m not looking forward to going out in the humidity. You do have a window to the world, between your deer, birds and now a turtle!
What a pretty summer scene!
Idyllic, isn’t it, so pleasant and peaceful. 🦋
