There is a Zone whose even Years
No Solstice interrupt –
Whose Sun constructs perpetual Noon
Whose perfect Seasons wait –
Whose Summer set in Summer, till
The Centuries of June
And Centuries of August cease
And Consciousness – is Noon.

Welcome Summer!
Welcome indeed, Summer! Stay awhile, will you? It’s a downpour here this morning, Barbara. Been thinking about you a lot the last few days. Hope the wedding went wonderfully.
It would be wonderful if your summer would stay as long as your winter did, Kathy!
The wedding was wonderful, the weather perfect… Pictures will come soon – we’ve still got company for another week, but I’ll post them as soon as I can. 🙂
Oh my goodness – what a beautiful scene. A great way to usher in the summer Barbara, thank you!
You’re welcome, Laurie – I thought Willard Metcalf managed to capture the magic of summer’s light so well.
Went swimming with a friend yesterday in a deep green lake. Officially, summer!
A deep green lake – I’ve cooled off a little just contemplating joining you and your friend for a swim!
Hope the summer brings along loads of happiness your way! Waiting to see the wedding pictures…
Thank you, Sonali! It’s taking me some time catching up, but I know you’ve seen the wedding pictures now! 🙂
Hi Barbara. I love the pinks and purples in the shore scene. Welcome summer indeed!!!! Jane
Hi Jane! The summer is going by fast, I think, but so hot and humid I’m dreaming about autumn…
