Little darling, it’s been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it’s all right

Welcome Spring!
Good Morning ! Here comes the Sun!
Sweet post!
Thank you, Jeff! The first day of spring was sunny here, but cold!
Good morning, indeed! And now I’m going to have that lovely tune running through my mind all day long 🙂
Laurie, I planted a musical earworm in your mind, then! It’s a good one, though. 🙂
Not sure what to make of the expression in the child’s eyes. They seem … almost …. sad. Is it just me ?
I think she looks a little perplexed – she’s hanging on to her hat which says to me that it’s windy out there, in spite of the sunshine…
You love Sun too? So now is your snow covered land get converted into a bed of flowers, of vibrant colors? I’m waiting to see the springtime photographs of your place.
The sun stays out a little longer each day, but we are still a long way off from a landscape full of lovely flowers! We did see a crocus yesterday, and a couple of skunk cabbages the day before. I’ll soon be posting some pictures of our colorless walk through the woods this weekend…
I love the painting Barbara. And yes I too love the sun. Its a sunny warm day over here. I’m going to take my friend Monty [our dog] for a long walk.
Our days have been sunny, but not warm! A nice long walk with Monty in the sunshine sounds so blissful. My cat Zoë is solar-powered, and loves her morning sunbaths. 🙂
I’ve been singing that song all day. Great image to go with it. 🙂
Looks like we were on the same wavelength that day, Robin! 🙂
