Tim’s 4th-great-grandfather, Abram Randolph, son of Benjamin & Jane (Long) Randolph, was born 24 October 1767 in Vermont, and 18 November 1824 in Albion, New York. He married (as her first husband) on 15 January 1797, Jane Koyl, who was born 4 April 1779 in Manchester, Vermont and died 19 October 1870 in Albion, daughter of Ephraim & Abigail (Redding) Koyl.
Jane married (as her second husband), 25 February 1847, David Coombs. Jane & David had no children.
Abram & Jane were the parents of twelve children:
1. Jonathan Randolph, born 13 February 1798, died 7 March 1883 in Anchorville, Michigan. He married Phebe Mosher, who was born 29 April 1806 in Connecticut, and died 15 February 1870 in Algonac, Michigan. Jonathan & Phebe were the parents of a daughter.
2. Abigail Randolph, born 9 September 1799, died 21 December 1799.
3. Ephraim Randolph, born 15 November 1800 in Ontario, died 21 September 1887 in Ira, Michigan. He married (as his first wife) c. 1833, Matilda Brown, who was born c. 1806 and died 29 June 1870 in Clay, Michigan, daughter of Caleb & Nancy (—) Brown. Ephraim & Matilda were the parents of six children.
Ephraim married (as his second wife) 7 January 1876 in Ira, Sarah Stafford, who was born 9 February 1821 in Québec and died 17 December 1913 in Ira, daughter of Joseph & Nancy (McGregor) Stafford.
4. Hannah Randolph, born 15 November 1802.
5. Benjamin Randolph, born 14 February 1805.
6. Lydia P. Randolph (Tim’s 3rd-great-grandmother), born 24 March 1807, died 1 February 1901 in Albion. She married 28 January 1828 in Clarkson, New York, John Hubbard, who was born 27 December 1804 in New York and died 19 August 1883 in Albion, son of Joseph & Mabel (Shurtleff) Hubbard. Lydia & John were the parents of six children.
7. Abraham Randolph, born 25 February 1810, died 10 March 1810.
8. Betsey Randolph, born 22 February 1812, died 15 June 1852.
9. Jane Randolph, born 13 Mar 1814, died 30 May 1845.
10. William Randolph, born 22 July 1816, died 15 June 1850
11. Matilda Randolph, born 18 October 1818, died 8 March 1899 in Alpena, Michigan.
12. Sarah Ann Randolph, born 26 January 1820, died 1 January 1852. She married (as his first wife) 27 December 1838.
