Atwood, Samuel & Patience Cobb

My 4th-great-grandfather, Samuel Atwood, son of Nathaniel & Abigail (Shaw) Atwood, was born 19 August 1751 in Plympton, Massachusetts, and died 7 June 1834 in Carver, Massachusetts. He married 27 November 1777 in Plympton, Patience Cobb, who was born in May 1758 in Kingston, Massachusetts, and died 13 September 1841 in Carver, daughter of John & Hannah (Cushman) Cobb.

Patience & Samuel lie buried in Central Cemetery in Carver, Massachusetts.
They were the parents of nine children:

1. Ruth Ann Atwood, born 3 September 1778 in Plympton, died 7 April 1859 in Lisle, New York. She married 27 January 1801 in Carver, Seth Barrows, who was born there 31 January 1773, and died 11 March 1858 in Lisle, son of Seth & Abigail (Atwood) Barrows.

2. Mary Atwood, born 23 October 1782 in Carver, died 7 April 1859 in Lisle. She married 6 October 1814 in Dorchester-Boston, Massachusetts, Eliab Knapp, who was born c. 1777.

3. Samuel Atwood, born 1 June 1783 in Carver, died 14 April 1840 in Abington, Massachusetts. He married 27 January 1814 in Middleborough, Massachusetts, Lydia Cobb, who was born there 27 January 1787, and died there 5 February 1856, daughter of James & Deliverance (Shaw) Cobb.

4. Stephen Atwood, born 7 June 1785 in Carver, died 26 April 1866. He married c. 1811, Lucy Briggs, who was born 27 July 1790 in Middleborough, and died 28 July 1872, daughter of Dean & Zilpha (Bates) Briggs.

5. Levi Enoch Atwood, born 5 November 1789 in Carver, died 9 October 1868 in Middleborough. He married 26 February 1814 in Carver, Bethia Shurtleff, who was born there 16 November 1793, and died 12 September 1852 in Middleborough, daughter of Gideon & Lucy (Shaw) Shurtleff.

6. Abigail Atwood, born 19 April 1793 in Carver, died 8 August 1872. She married 1 March 1817 in Carver, Peter Wood, who was born 25 February 1793 in Middleborough, and died April 1862, son of Peter & Sarah Standish (Pinkham) Wood.

7. Hannah Cobb Atwood, born 8 February 1795 in Carver, died 5 March 1885 in Middleborough. She married 28 September 1817 in Middleborough, Harvey Cushman Thomas, who was born there 18 November 1788 and died there 10 January 1877, son of Churchill & Hannah C. (Cushman) Thomas.

8. Sarah Atwood, born 22 February 1799 in Carver, died there 23 June 1883. She married 24 June 1826 in Carver, Harvey Lucas, who was born there 5 October 1794, and died there 26 April 1867, son of Abijah & Mary (Robbins) Lucas.

9. Ebenezer Atwood (my 3rd-great-grandfather), born 3 September 1803 in Carver, died there 28 December 1865. He married 12 October 1830 in Middleborough, Waitstill Lucas, who was born 7 October 1807 in Carver, and died there 30 March 1876, daughter of Caleb & Asenath (Shurtleff) Lucas.
