Month of August — covered with foam is the beach;
Blithesome the bee, full the hive;
Better the work of the sickle than the bow.

Great pic, Barbara! Happy August
Thank you, Frank! Happy August! 🌻
Dinnertime!! This busy little guy has a smorgasbord to choose from, now that August has arrived.
So many sunflowers, so little time! When the bees are full the cows are the next diners in line. 🌻
The perfect verse to serenade the arrival of August and a great way to illustrate the expression “busy as a bee!”
Thank you, Linda! 🌻 Bees do seem to have a cheerful disposition as they go about their busyness. 🐝
The poem is lovely and I’m sure you know how I feel about the Bee! ❤️
Happy August!
Thank you! 🌻 Hats off to busy bees everywhere, especially you, Suz! 🐝🐝🐝
This is a fabulous composition, Barbara! Yay for the busy bees!
