When you embark for strange places, don’t leave any of yourself safely on shore. Have the nerve to go into unexplored territory. Be brave enough to live life creatively. The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. It is not the previously known. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. You can’t get there by bus, only by hard work and risk and by not quite knowing what you’re doing, but what you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover will be yourself.

Amazing! This is so wonderful, so true. Thank you for sharing Barbara, I’m happy that you always find such beautiful stories around the web, amidst the chaos of the internet!
You’re welcome, Sonali! ‘The wilderness of my intuition’ has led me to some strange places, indeed, both in the blogosphere and on this wonderful little blue and green planet.
Hey Barbara, I’m enjoying your post-trip-of-your-lifetime posts. Sounds like you want to keep traveling… BTW, I enjoyed distracting your granddaughter the other day so that her mother could entertain her guests!
Hi Susan, I’d love to go to Norway again but I’m not so sure about traveling in general – it’s hard for me to keep up the pace… I’m enjoying savoring the experience as I go through the pictures… Larisa sent me a great picture of you reading to Katie – so precious! 🙂
This is one of my favorite quotes, Barbara. Thanks for the reminder. 🙂
You’re welcome, Robin! I had to find the nerve to take the trip to Europe – definitely had left my comfort zone. 🙂
Love the quote.
Thanks, Rosie!
