Thank you, Joanne! Hemlock cones are so petite, measuring between 1/2-3/4 in (1.3-1.9 cm) and I do enjoy using them for Christmas decorations, when I can find them. ๐
Hi there Barbara! I’d seen your “icon” around a few spots, but didn’t realize you were still blogging. I feel like I tried to pop over here but WordPress didn’t show anything when I clicked. Today, I tried again, and here you are! I’ll poke around a bit!
Hi Karma! Seems like it’s been years since I’ve seen you in the blogosphere. But WordPress is still up to its old tricks — some things never change. I’ll pop over and visit your blog soon. It’s so lovely to have you back!
It is true – it has been years. I looked back at my last post before I started writing again this month, and it has been 7 years. But it looks like some of the former “crew” is popping around again!
Seven years — wow!!! I’ve noticed the same thing, and it’s been lovely reconnecting with inactive bloggers who are coming back online. Our lives have gone through so many changes.
How beautiful! The tiny pinecone looks like a Christmas decoration, Barbara. ๐

Beautiful, Barbara. ๐ I love hemlocks and their little cones.
Thank you, Robin. I’m tickled pink to be finding so many of them in the botanical garden. ๐
