Brighid of the mantle, encompass us;
Lady of the Lambs, protect us;
Keeper of the hearth, kindle us;
Beneath your mantle, gather us,
And restore us to memory

Beautiful words – encouraging
Thank you, Peggy! 🙏
To me, very much a prayer – and a good one. Happy February, Barbara.
Happy Groundhog Day, Frank. 🙏
🙏
🙏 Blessings to you, Donna.
Restore us to memory-how beautiful- may it restore me to the memory of What I am and always will be
Many blessings to you, dearest Leelah. 🙏
Never heard this before, but I like it!
I’m glad you like it, Debbie. I got it from “The Celtic Spirit: Daily Meditations for the Turning Year” by Caitlín Matthews. 🙏
At the end of my online yoga practice the teacher was thanking us for coming to the hearth for virtual community & self care. She then reminded us that heart is the foundation of hearth. This poem hit home in my primed consciousness.
What a wonderful bit of synchronicity. In ancient times people gathered around the literal hearth and now the internet has become a virtual gathering place for community. Even a doctor visit for healing can be by video call! 🙏
Are your online yoga practices in real time or are they recordings?
Right now they are recordings. As I get better with technology I will share some here.
Looking forward to that!
A lovely blessing that makes me feel good about life– and gathering at our virtual hearth.
So happy this little blessing made you feel good, Ally. I have a decorative sign in my living room that says “gather” and it isn’t lost on me how impossible physical gathering is at the moment. Thank you so much for visiting my virtual hearth. 💙
Lovely image & words – “restore us to memory” …. I will be thinking on this for the rest of the day.
I’m so happy you enjoyed the words and painting, Ju-lyn. 🙏
