Thank you, Kathy! Sometimes when we go to outdoor plays in the evenings my attention is drawn away from the stage to the drama above – dragonflies and bats hunting those darn mosquitoes…
In 2005 local artists were invited to paint 50 fiberglass whale sculptures which were displayed all over southeastern Connecticut, creating a “Whale Trail.” It was fun spotting them whenever we were out and about. This one, located on a sidewalk, made me stop and get out of the car on a busy street to get a picture. Alas, there were too many passersby to get the whole whale in the frame, but I loved this little part of it. 🙂
