Welcome Autumn!
Autumn is my favorite season. I cherish each lovely Fall day, probably because I can somehow sense that winter will be here soon.
Autumn is also my favorite time of year … The temperature is right, the colours are mellow and pumpkins are alight!

Thank you all so much for your thoughts on autumn. I missed most of it this year being in North Carolina! I didn’t even get to go apple-picking, which is my favorite way to celebrate the first day of autumn. But tomorrow Tim & I are planning to take a drive up the eastern part of Connecticut on the national scenic byway of Route 169, and I hope we will see some fall colors, what is left of them, and visit several of our favorite shops.
