A few days ago around sunset Tim came charging down the stairs, camera in hand, and bolted out the front door. He had noticed a subtle change in lighting inside and decided to look out the window when he saw these dramatic clouds. So today I’m finally getting around to sharing his pictures! They seem like unusual looking clouds for around these parts…

  1. Wonderfully done! Capturing the moment, sensing that one is about to happen!
A few days ago while walking the dogs after a rain storm around 6 pm or so I looked up in South Eastern sky and there was a big rainbow, the more I looked, I realized there was a faint second one, it was not full rainbow but it was magic anyway!

    1. I cannot remember if there was a storm that evening or not, but there have been so many storms recently so perhaps so. But doesn’t that old saying go, “Red sky at night, sailors delight, red sky in the morning, sailors take warning?”

  2. Oh, wow! They are dramatic. The first photo looks like the wings on an angel, golden ones. The second photo looks like balls if fire. Amazingly beautiful. Thank you. for sharing as well as for the visit. I appreciate the stories you shared. They are stories that bring inspiration to me. God bless you and your family.

    1. Thank you, island traveler, and you’re welcome, too! The universe gives us so many astonishing images to fill us with awe and inspiration… Many blessings to your precious family, too.

  3. I was sitting at my computer and out of the corner of my eye noticed the light entering the room was unusual. Standing up I looked outside and observed the most delightful colors and textures in the sky. I ran (read this as walked quickly) downstairs calling to Barbara asking if she had seen the sky, which she had not as she was absorbed in a TV show at the time and the drapes had already been drawn for the evening. By the time I dug out the camera and took these photos the sky had changed again and was not 100% as good as when I first stood up. Yet I am happy I was able to capture what I did and for Barbara to be able to share with you good folks.
