A word is dead, when it is said
Some say –
I say it just begins to live
That day

Hi Barbara,
This small piece has got so much to say! Such a deep meaning being conveyed so uncomplicatedly! I like that.
How have you been doing lately? 🙂
Regards
Sonali
So true, Sonali, the deepest thoughts can often be expressed so simply and clearly!
I’m doing well – refreshed after a nice weekend getaway, visiting with our family. Did you have a nice visit with your family in Goa?
Nice to hear from you. yes, I had a wonderful time at home, but three days just flew by without even realizing, it was time to return back. Now I’m back to my work & hectic life! 🙁
Time does seem to fly when we’re reconnecting with family! 🙂 Parting is such sweet sorrow…
And I loved the portrait too 🙂
Me, too! Reminds me of my childhood as a little bookworm!
Beautiful! I think Emily was correct. the energy of a word moves beyond its saying to be own or used by the hearer.
“The energy of a word” – a new thought for me, thanks, Jeff! Life is a kind of energy, isn’t it? Maybe that’s why I feed off of words so much…
Oh, that lovely face
She does have a very sweet countenance – what a talented artist to capture it!
Agree with Emily and jeffstroud the word goes out exploring and reproducing.
Amen.
Now that’s another quote I want to copy out. LOVE love love the picture – it’s perfect!
Thanks, Rosie! 🙂 I LOVE the painting, too!
